Problems accessing PDF on the web

Good morning,

I have detected a problem in our Dédalo + Web installation of the wondercoins project that causes the PDF documents of the publications resource to not be displayed on the web when the corresponding icon is clicked.

At first I thought it was a folder permissions issue on the server but everything was correct.
Then I have obtained positive results that solve the problem in Dédalo.
I am going to show the steps I have followed in case it helps other users in the future and then I will ask the question I have to see if Alex or Paco could help me.

1- Edit the record for which the PDF is not displayed on the web

2- Go to the "DOCUMENTACIÓN" field and click on the "Versiones Media" icon

3- Click the button "Regenerar Fichero"

4- Go to the website to check that the problem is solved

Now I need help, please!

Is there a way to fix this in bulk for all records that have PDF in our Dédalo installation?

Yes!

You can use the Update cache tool.

1 go to the list of resource that you want to recreate (you can use the filter to select specific records if you need).

2 click into the Update cache button in the top:

3 the tool will open and you can choose the component to be recreated in your case Document

And press the Update Records

This action will check all your files and if something is wrong it will fixed. And you can use it in images as well.
