Dédalo on archives- ISAD ontology

Dear all,

we have installed a Dédalo version (6.0.6) for an archive who wants to use ISAD ontology.

We're planning to upgrade to the lastest version and we want to know if updating Dédalo version and updating ontology, ISAD ontology we'll be available.

As far as we know, there is an ISAD ontology, but not in the current version we're using (6.0.6) that have these Dédalo prefix tipos: dd,rsc,hierarchy,lg,oh,ich,nexus,actv,test

The process is explained here.

But in nutshell:

You need to include «isad» tld into prefix tipos in your config.php file as explained here

And see the dependencies here

Then you will need update the ontology to sync and upload the new tld as explained here

When the ontology will be ready, and as isad is a hierarchy, you will need to add new hierarchy to point it and see it in the thesaurus. So, go to «Thesaurus->hierarchy» and create new one with this parameters:

Use the name to identify it in the thesaurus according to your project needs... e.g.: Archives

And you will see it into thesaurus, use it as other thesaurus.
