Publish component_relation_parent conditionally

Hi,

We are publishing the content of the tchi1 section on the web.

We would like to publish a field that, starting from the dependent of field (tchi39), would go up the hierarchy and stop when the typolgy field (tchi16) had a certain value, returning that element, and thus publish in that field, for example, only the municipality.

We have been told that this is possible, I imagine that by introducing the corresponding condition in the properties field of the difussion field, but we do not know how to do it and we have not found it in the documentation either.

Could you tell us how to do it?

Yes, it's possible (and yes, it's not documented because the diffusion is using the V5 schema and we want to change in the future with a more clear model).

So, you need to define in custom_arguments an array with a object with a property custom_parents and use any combination of:

parent_end_by_term_id | array with the term_id
parent_end_by_model | array with the term_id of the model
parents_splice | array with a int to cut the final result

as example:

Is use the rsc91 Birth town component to get his data and the process to get his parents will stop if the term is a province es2_8870 and it don't scale in the cases that parents are:

es1_8800 -> Almeria
es18142 -> el Comtat

And the result will splice 3 terms.

Sorry for the delay in replying but we haven't been able to test it until now.

We have adapted the example to our needs but when publishing we always get the null value.
I paste the code we are using

It is placed in a field of type field_varchar that has as a related term the element tch348 (Location (topographic))

The idea would be to publish a record from the tch1 section with, for example, the following value in the tch348 field:
Contenedor 18, Vitrina 4, Sala de reserva 2. Plaquetas Parpalló., Entresuelo, Museo de Prehistoria de Valencia, Topográfico

Show only:
Sala de reserva 2. Plaquetas Parpalló.

Which corresponds to the thesaurus element location1 that has the value Sala (location2_14) as type. However, as I mentioned, when publishing, null is always displayed.

The same thing happens to us with the tch555 field (Recovery place).

Looking back at the initial message, I may not be able to explain it well, since we don't actually publish from the tchi1 (immovables) section, but from the tch1 (objects) section. I don't know if this could have any influence.

This one does seem to iterate between the parents and stop when it should, but it doesn't show what we want. For the previous example:

It does seem to stop at Sala de reserva 2. Plaquetas Parpalló. and shows the father, but what we would like to be shown is the element itself. It seems that we are close but there is still some adjustment needed to achieve it.

parent_end_by_model iterates the parents and stops at given model (not included in the result):

This action gets the list:

And now, you want to splice the array at the desired point, for example:

parents_splice : [0, 2]

to get
