Problem exporting location from requests.

We found an issue exporting from requests.
We a selection from requests (in this case requests done in 2024):

We export the following:

When a person has made several requests, the first time shows the municipality, but the others shows only comarca instead of municipality.

Can you look into it?

Yes... It's a conflict with the parent resolution and the term. We are working on that, while it is being resolved you can export the term and its parent in two different exports:

For ex: if you export both at same time the error appear (as you note), parent resolution will replace the main term:

But, if you export the main term, the result is fine:

And if you export the parent term it will be fine too:

And you can join both in a spreedsheet program.

Thanks for pointing that. We are changing the parent-children model in v6.5.0 and parent will have data (instead a calculation) to prevent this kind of conflict.

Another way to export both is to use both inside portal, do not mix the caller and its parent.

In this way the export is fine.

In fact, this rule is super fine in other situations, if you want export inside a field, do not use the caller field, use only fields inside it.

That leads us to a request when exporting locations:

For us it will be a beutiful improvement if we could export location (toponymy) breaking in columns all the terms of the tree.

For this, maybe, we could use the model to locate each term in the correct column. In the case of other kind on model (for example other country), it could export his own model in a different column.

As an example someone living in El Molí d'en Rovira, and another from Perpignan, it could export:

This will be useful when we need to create some statistics because exporting in this way allows us to utilise Excel's dynamic tables and other features.

This could be a huge improvement exporting locations!
