It was an impromptu meeting about the ontology of restoration and preventive conservation, sorry for not announcing it.
The topics was to review the current ontology to consolidate it:
Proposal of changes
In Inspections / Conservation statersc976:
- rsc980 will change its name to
Informed from Technical because is necessary to register all people that are informed about the inspection, not only the technical.
- Will incorporate a new
space pointing to topographic thesaurus, to specify the location of the inspection.
In Parameters of preventive conservationrsc949:
- rsc964 will change its name to
Storage conditions from Storage
- rsc965 will change its name to
Transport conditions from needs
- rsc967 will change its name to
Exhibition/loan conditions from Packaging
- rsc968 will change its name to
Notes from needs
In Intervention rsc550:
Important: This section changes its meaning to incorporate other "interventions" other than restoration (such as building a wall on an archaeological site).
- Will incorporate a new
space pointing to topographic/toponymy thesaurus, to specify the location of the intervention (inside and outside of museum).
- rsc968 will change its name to
Technical from Restorer to be included any others as curators, etc.
- rsc564 will change its name to
Report / conservation / diagnosis from Conservation status / diagnosis to open the meaning of the field.
