An explanation about it.
Every tipo is an ontology definition, and the menu is defined as any other part of the ontology, so the menu paths are defined as area and you can skip it as @PaCo explains.
So, you can know what is the path looking at the ontology and you can decide which tipo do you want to skip.
Another way is to remove completely a full branch of the ontology, as "Intangible heritage" because your archive doesn't use it.
To do this, you can define the tipo into the config_areas.php, it will remove the area and ALL children of this area. The concept is not a skip is a totally remove access.
