Geolocation - Maps

It would be interesting to have greater control over the data displayed by the geolocation component, specifically the maps. There are currently two situations in which it would not be desirable for the map content to be published on the website in situations where the place name must be public.

The geolocation component, by default, shows the location in Valencia. In cases where the place is not possible to establish, that default location is still displayed, which can be misleading on the public website.
Another situation in which it would be useful to have more control over the map is when there is sensitive location information related to a place. The record in Dédalo stores that information, and while the name of the place is public, the exact location should not be displayed with the same level of detail as the data stored in Dédalo. This happens for instance with info related with archaeological sites.

Therefore, one possible solution could be to introduce a new component that allows control over the publication of geolocation data. Would this be possible? Would it be a good solution?

This is also an issue for mass graves, as they are as sensitive as archaeological sites. However, we need to publish geolocation data since we have a mass grave map. Perhaps what we need are two levels of detail: one for public access and another that is more detailed.

We need further reflection on this because we already have two levels of detail—the location of the mass grave and the location of the intervention. Adding another level may confuse users.

I propose that we discuss this in an Archaeological meeting, but not in the next one on April 30th, as that meeting is dedicated to Restoration. Since the meeting in Valencia is next month, I am unsure when the next Archaeological meeting will be scheduled.
