Summary of what we discussed in the meeting on 06/26/2026
Victims Census:
First, we discussed a series of changes to the Victims Census. In the "Information Sources" resource list, the "entity" field appeared duplicated, but the information was not showing. This error was already known, and Alex took note to update it. Cenomi will send the list of fields that should be visible in the list.
Person File:
We revisited the issue of data uncertainty that we discussed in the March 2026 meeting. We saw it was necessary to apply it to the fields for Municipality of birth, death, and residence.
We noted that residence could be transformed into a resource. Alex raised the question of whether this would be applicable in all three cases. We assessed the implications it would have for the user, as searches and data maintenance would become more complicated. Finally, we decided to make changes to the data visualization to improve the user experience by grouping data that refers to the same "event" (Although it was suggested that creating events would be the best path, the topic was set aside because we agree that the change to "events" is too significant for the user):
- Date of birth / municipality of birth / Alt municipality of birth / place of birth in a single row.
- Date of residence / municipality of residence / Alt municipality of residence in another row.
- Date of death / municipality of death / Alt municipality of death / place of death in another row.
It was also noted that the entire section related to family has gained significant weight and deserves its own section with a separator that allows those fields to be shown and hidden. This separator will be named "Family".
Finally, we agreed to keep the Memory Friday meeting on July 31st, as most of us can attend.
