It seems clear that we all need to adopt a common diffusion model. I believe the initial proposal is appropriate because the fields in the legend section are few and all of them are important. The only component I don’t see as useful for publication is the project field, which, at least in our case, has never been used in the diffusion of any section.
These are the current fields. While we’re on this topic, I’d like to take advantage of this thread to propose two new fields that might be useful in most contexts where legends are used. I think it would be useful to add one field for translation and another for expanded form. This latter field would make it possible to have two separate fields to distinguish between the actual legend, IMP C AVG, and its expanded form, IMP C(AESAR) AVG(VSTVS).
