Dear all
Bari meeting is over. It was an intense and interesting week. Thanks to @Federico for hosting the meeting! Thanks to @Frankfurt Wiggy for collecting the topics to discuss and the next abstract! And thanks to all attendees!

Dédalo Working Group, Bari,16.9.2026
Suggested topics:
1.- The future governance of The Numisdata ontology - how do we work together?
Run it via the Agora with regular online meetings, last Thursday of the month, 11 am, Berlin/Madrid time - tag messages in the Agora to the Numismatic Ontology Group. (The Numismatic Fridays was renamed with Numismatic Ontology Group, so, you can tag it and found previous meetings)
Clare @Clare will send out an Outlook reminder with a Zoom link.
2.- Recording dies and attributing them to coins.
Use the tch1 ontology - Object - as it provides more flexibility for the description. It can be linked to a type.
Overstrikes - do they mean that we need to be able to link more than one die to an obverse or reverse?
There are actual dies, and dies which only exist as concepts, for example in a die study. They are entered the same in tch1. There they can be linked to type or coin, but relations can be set up with mint, person, etc.
Moulds can be entered similarly.
3.- Copyright/license declarations for images.
Enter in Cession of Rights fields for the image - at present free text, needs thesauri.
2 fields: a list of CC licences, etc. and a thesaurus like obverse description.
4.- Regions.
Use Unofficial Toponomy in the Toponymy thesaurus to create regions. These can be linked to mint and marked as Head Region or Province, etc.
5.- Recording of a coin that is sold in one or more auctions, but ends up in a museum.
No problem!
Current definition can handle it.
6.- Diffusion (this seems to be a problem for some colleagues).
There will be an online tutorial
7.- Common diffusion templates, for example for coin finds, rather than typologies.
The code for andcoins.org is on Github
8.- Q & A on individual aspects, e.g. the geo-referencing module. This could involve people showing aspects of what they are doing - if there is time!
When the changes will be done, they will be announced here.

Thanks!
Best
