tch555 is now working fine. It was problem of filters and that some records were not marked as valid for indexation. Sorry 🙂

Note: tchi1 is not the tipo for any model, tchi1 is a main section, his model is tchi2, it's confusing to use relative definitions. Please use the correct tipo.

It also happens that the model LIST of tchi1 (inmovable heritage) is not displayed correctly. Only the ID column is displayed. I can edit the records I've created, which are also shown in the tree view. But the list view doesn't show the terms I've created.
The tchi1 field (tchi16 ) for this typology/model doesn't show the terms in the autocomplete. It's only possible to link id from a 'blank list', getting also a 'blank term'.

I think that is your installation that has the problem, maybe you need to review your hierarchies and be ensure that your installation is working properly.

All you saying is not a failure or malfunction. Seems like your are working with an incorrect hierarchy.

Manuel Gozalbes For the component 'place' (tch555) and for the component 'location' (tch348) it will be helpful it the parents of the term are also shown (Case 34 > Rome and Hispania > Permanent rooms...)

'Place' works fine now. But location is not showing the parents tch348. I've updated the ontology and the only info displayed is the term. Besides that, the typical pencil for editing is not displayed, and the bin appears far to the right, not right after the term, as usually happens.

Location tch348 It's a view tree than is a litter bit different view than "usually", the functionality is open the main thesaurus to select the term to link directly in the thesaurus tree. But is possible change it to mix the "usually" configuration and the tree. And is done in the ontology:

Note: this change requiere the latest version of Dédalo >= v6.2, if you update with any previous version you will lose the tree functionality.

in the portal 'Assessment' of tch1, the content of the field 'observations' is not displayed. The portal shows a grey or green flag (grey when the field is empty grey and green when is filled) with a pop-up which says 'matrix_id: undefined'.

Another possible improvement is for the field period / chronology. Perhaps is possible to add the thesaurus culture in this field. Sometimes 'periods' are used in the sense of 'cultures' and viceversa (Bronze Age, Baroque...). Sometimes can be also Dynastic information (Ming dynasty), but I think that this kind of info is possible to set a internal branch of the chronological thesaurus. For the label of this field sounds good 'Period / Culture' (+ Dynasty?)

In my opinion, it makes sense. All those things are periods of time, and you can specify in the term what kind of typology is, a Culture or Period or Era or Dynasty, etc...

And what do you think about Styles, as Barroco, Modernism, Deco, etc... it could be useful to be included them in the same field and thesaurus?

I'm back to the field 'period'. I suggest to use the label and some 'official' thesauri to give an idea of the contents. Maybe is a sort of mix of thematic concepts, but makes sense and a suggestion for the label is; Period / Culture / Dinasty / Style. The field should link to 4 official thesauri with the same names (the only new are Dinasty and Style). Style seems important specially for the same field in the inmovable heritage section (tchi1).

Is it possible to shorten the label of the field tch508 > Recommendations and preventive conservation parameters (HR, Tª, Lux...)
It's too long and with the filter unfolded creates a list of fields too wide.
Maybe it's ok just with 'Conservation paremeters'

And we have a proposal to unify this field with Handling, transport, exposure specifications tch147, but I don't know if the text field is necessary to get the latest specifications or you can use the portal to handle this kind of data e.g. send this information for exhibitions, transport, etc... it is easy to export a text field and maybe it is complicated to select the right portal (the newest row) to export this data.
So, maybe we need both, text field with the latest and human readable format and portal with historical and structured data.

IMPORTANT CHANGE

The field Graduation / scale / ratio tch242 has been changed to use the Magnitudes/proportions/values rsc1327 section instead to use only a text value.

Now the field has change his name to: Magnitudes/proportions/values because we don't find any «good» name for this field. The field meaning is to add other modifying measures or magnitudes likes scales, ratios, proportions, values for ex:

IMPORTANT CHANGE

The field Trademark tch234 has been changed to use the Typologies hierarchies to the thesaurus instead call to Trademark list rsc669.

Now the field is renamed as: Trademark / Model

And the meaning of the field is include specific things as:

Galgo
Ektacrhome
Voigtländer
iPhone 3s
etc

Expanding the typology and the name of the property for industrial things. Maybe is necessary a thesaurus for this kind of trademarks or models....
